Story of the movie
The movie has both plotting of treason and passion in it for the audience. The story is taken form the time of Second World War and revolves around the Royal Canadian Air Force intelligence officer, Max Vatan and French Resistance fighter, Marianne. Despite of the fact that their love life can get people killed, they fall for each other. Their marriage is threatened that by the sayings that marriages made on field hardly succeed. Both the officers complete the first part of their mission in Casablanca and goes back to London and have their daughter named Ana is born. Max and Marianne somehow make a happy existence, though the war is on wage outside. Brad Pitt– played the role of Max in the movie. He has done the complete justice to his role. It seems that the actor concentrated more on looking handsome rather than putting an intense act. Marion Cotillard– played the role of Marianne in the movie. He tries hard to make their involvement and chemistry to look real on screen but somewhere fails. She could not match up to the expectations of audience to manage and ruffle up the passion. She looked very pretty all throughout the movie and has done quite justice to the role of Marianne.
