Marjaavaan movie review
- Genre – Drama
- Star Cast – Siddharth Malhotra, Ritesh Deshmukh, Tara Sutaria, Rakul Preet Singh
- Director – Milap Zaveri
- Rating – 2/5
What About The Story
Marjaavaan is the story of a bloody war between Raghu (Siddharth Malhotra) and Vishnu (Ritesh Deshmukh), in which if anyone loses is only the audience. Though movie could be a bit better but it can be considered a one-time watch movie indeed. Actually both are active tankers in Mumbai and members of a powerful gang running a body business, but Raghu soon falls in love with Zoya (Tara Sutaria) and as is usually the case with such rote stories, between them The enmity becomes even stronger.
If director Milap Zaveri could have made a story like this in the eighties properly, it would have been easy to tolerate it but the misfortune of the audience could not happen. However, the problems do not end here.
When Malhotra starts overacting and doing some incredible stunts in order to become a hero and look like Amitabh Bachchan, you expect his fellow actors to do a little better in the film, but they also turn twenty. Deshmukh’s dialogues are quite ridiculous and do not create fear from anywhere. From the top, they have very dangerous looking bodigards in the film, whose work is only growling. Last time I saw so many dreaded goons in Aamir Khan’s film Mela.
Both the actresses of the film Tara Sutria and Rakul Preet Singh fulfill the responsibility of the props and their ‘terrible manhood’ film does not make much difference due to their being or not. There are also some special dance songs and as you have expected, their settings are dance bars only.
Why To Watch
If you love either Tara Sutaria or Rakul Preet Singh, you may go ahead to watch this movie indeed. Marjaavaan: Marjawan’s great song Released, This Hot Actress Dance Raag Aag Marjaavaan has Rakul Preet Singh and Tara Sutaria as props only.
What Is Negative About The Movie
In this film, there are two or four odd dialogues that will force you to lift your head from your mobile, apart from this only Malhotra and a match stick stuck in his mouth. Let me tell you a dialog to make your sense. Malhotra says to the villain with great admiration: Maraunga kanpati pe, dard mitega ganpati pe. Even my pain is not going to disappear soon. Now you must have understood that Marjaavaan will take you through which lanes during your two and a half hours.
